Radiology – CT / X-Ray Tech (WA)
Note : Medical Solutions auto-deducts the 1.75% WA tax—you may re-add that amount.
Radiation Badge : Traveler must provide one; manager can assist if needed.
License : Active WA license required
Department Details
Modality : CT & General X-Ray
Scanners / Rooms : 1 CT, 1 X-ray, 1 Portable
Float : CT and General X-Ray
Equipment : Toshiba 64-slice CT, Carestream X-Ray room, new GE portable
EMR / PACS : EPIC + McKesson PACS
Required Certifications
BLS
ARRT
CT certification
Common Studies
CT : Head, Spine, Abd / Pelvis, CTA PE, Runoff, Extremities (w / and w / o contrast)
X-Ray : Chest, PICC placement, Tube placement, Trauma, Fractures, Extremities
Experience Needed
Ability to work independently—graveyard shift is solo (11p–7a)
Must be able to start IVs (no RN support in DI)
Typical Volumes
CT : 2–6 scans / night
X-Ray : 1–4 per night
Staffing
Supervisor : Adrienne Turner (Manager)
CT Lead : Keith Stoner
Radiologist : On-site Mon / Wed / Fri 8a–5p; otherwise TRA Telerad
RRA : No
Schedule
Shift : Tues–Thurs, 5p–5 : 30a
Weekends : As scheduled
Holidays : Work if holiday falls on your shift
Call : None
Dress Code
Wear your own scrubs (any color)
Orientation
EPIC training in Tacoma
1 week on-site training
