Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions. Monitor the location for any security-related issues, reporting and documenting observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies. Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors in a manufacturing and industrial environment, addressing questions or concerns as needed. Assist with controlling access to the premises, checking credentials and maintaining awareness of entry and exit points. Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations or drills by following established protocols. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Guard - Industrial Site - Full Time
As a Security Guard in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer and play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help create a secure environment, and provide exceptional customer service through strong communication skills. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as you monitor the premises.
