Project Architect

Our hospitality design firm is seeking a mid-level architect (4+ years of experience minimum) to join our growing design firm. We are seeking someone with a passion for remarkable design and desire to engage in the finest national and international hospitality projects. As a mid-level architect, you will assist in leading a team of designers to deliver full concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases with direct engagement with the owners at NMDA and our clients.

A professional degree in architecture is required : licensure is preferred but not required. Experience working with consultants and leading internal team deliverables is required. Prior experience and knowledge working in AutoCad and Revit is required.

Responsibilities

• Strong ability to manage within all phases of design documentation through construction administration
• Demonstrate knowledge in project accounting, staffing, and scheduling
• Showcases experience in direct client relations, including but not limited to direct communication and management of expectations
• Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
• Ability to manage and engage in multiple projects simultaneously in overlapping phases
