Our hospitality design firm is seeking a mid-level architect (4+ years of experience minimum) to join our growing design firm. We are seeking someone with a passion for remarkable design and desire to engage in the finest national and international hospitality projects. As a mid-level architect, you will assist in leading a team of designers to deliver full concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases with direct engagement with the owners at NMDA and our clients.
A professional degree in architecture is required : licensure is preferred but not required. Experience working with consultants and leading internal team deliverables is required. Prior experience and knowledge working in AutoCad and Revit is required.
Responsibilities
- Strong ability to manage within all phases of design documentation through construction administration
- Demonstrate knowledge in project accounting, staffing, and scheduling
- Showcases experience in direct client relations, including but not limited to direct communication and management of expectations
- Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
- Ability to manage and engage in multiple projects simultaneously in overlapping phases
Qualifications
4+ Years’ experience in hospitality projectsProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit requiredBachelor’s degree in architecture or related field from an accredited university required. Master’s in architecture or related field from accredited university preferred but not required.Must be able to engage and assist in producing documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and written.Architecture Licensure is preferred but not required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
