Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Norton, Kansas.
Job Description & Requirements
The position is ER and med / surg, and they would function as the charge nurse for the shift- making assignments, checking equipment, and managing patients. The shifts run 5 : 30pm-6am, and it would be a 6-7 days on, 7-8 days off schedule. I am hoping to find someone to work approximately 2 shifts of overtime per month. The schedule I need coverage for is as follows :
Nov. 12 (orientation), 13, 14, 15
16, 17, 18
26 (if willing to work OT), 27, 28, 29
30, Dec. 1, 2
11, 12, 13
14, 15, 16
24 (if willing to work OT), 25, 26, 27
28, 29, 30, 31 (if willing to work OT)
Jan. 8, 9, 10
11, 12, 13
22, 23, 24
25, 26, 27, 28 (if willing to work OT)
Feb 5, 6, 7
8, 9, 10
19, 20, 21
22, 23, 24, 25 (if willing to do OT)
The candidate needs to have ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications. I realize we may not be able to find someone who can start so quickly, but the sooner, the better, as the Acute Care Manager and myself are covering the night shifts along with our other duties during the day. This contract has a strong potential to extend beyond 16 weeks. Thanks for any help!
