About The Position

Job Title : Float Pool ICU Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Central Staffing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating 7A / 7P

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Strong mixed ICU experience required

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS preferred; Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC, and ACLS are a plus

Must-Have : Must be an ICU RN, will float to IMC level

Description :

The Float Pool ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.

The role involves floating to various ICU and IMC specialties, including surgical, medical, neurological, and cardiac units.

Candidates must have experience with high acuity patients.

Key skills required include managing CRRT, CVVHD, ventilated patients, titrating medications, A-lines, central lines, and Swan-Ganz catheters.

Dysrhythmia management experience is also essential.

The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic spine, neuro, oncology, pulmonary, renal, sepsis, respiratory failure, GI bleed, liver failure, and diabetic ketoacidosis.
