The Athletic Director administers and oversees all interscholastic athletic programs, ensuring compliance with AHSAA regulations and alignment with AAHS's mission. This role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of athletic administration, and the ability to manage part-time responsibilities effectively while fostering a positive, safe, and competitive athletic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program Administration & Compliance (40%)

• Organize and schedule all athletic events, securing facilities and AHSAA-registered officials.
• Verify student-athlete eligibility via DragonFly and AHSAA platforms; maintain required documentation (physicals, birth certificates, consent forms).
• Ensure coach compliance with NFHS certifications (concussion, heat acclimatization, CPR / AED, etc.).
• Submit all AHSAA-required forms, declarations, and membership renewals by deadlines.
