TAKE CONTROL and join our team as a Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Consultant ! We're seeking a motivated and talented professional to join our forward-thinking team. This position is based in our Metairie, LA office and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

About the Role

The Sr. Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Consultant is responsible for the implementation of control systems and DCS / PLC / SCADA programming. This includes a working knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Industrial Control Systems / IT - specializing in design, development, programming, integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, start-up and control system optimization. The Sr. Industrial Control Systems Engineer is expected to be a technical lead on projects providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers and support their professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and configure PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of automated equipment.
• Develop software / hardware design specifications.
• Design, write, test and document PLC / HMI software.
• Create Control Narratives, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, and Network Diagrams.
• Develop and execute control system validation / testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot, test, and start-up control systems onsite.
• Participate in site visits and meetings as required by project.
• Consult with clients to ensure project success.
• Interact with project managers / team leads, clients, and other third parties.
• Mentor other I&C Consultants / Engineers
