What you'll do

• Serve as a software developer and domain expert within Viasat's Knowledge Team to provide enterprise search and generative AI solutions across the organization and help solve key business problems to drive value.
• Develop new features and capabilities for enterprise search and automation using technologies such as Glean, Azure OpenAI, Google VertexAI, Neo4j, Python, Git
• Continuously explore ways to optimize processes, establish standard methodologies, and adopt emerging trends in generative AI
• Investigate and fix issues in our production environment

The day-to-day

What you'll need

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), DevOps, CICD, and IaC

Familiarity with neo4j graph databases

What will help you on the job

Proficiency with API integrations and RESTful services

Strong verbal and written communication skills when collaborating with internal end users and collaborators

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or equivalent experience in a technical field

Salary range

$111,500.00 - $176,500.00 / annually.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $139,000.00- $208,000.00 / annually
