Able to respond to call-ins utilizing cell phone call procedure, and must be able to work independently, to prioritize work, be a self-starter, effectively communicate, and work in a team environment; Able to use a computerized maintenance management system and be willing to keep current with industry advancements by continuing education and further developing skills Wiring single phase and three phase motors. Understanding and troubleshooting PLC, Control / Logix or Siemens) Some Welding and Fabrication experience

Night Shift on the 2-2-3 Schedule
Job Overview : To insure that all equipment is maintained in the best possible running condition to insure minimum downtime and costs associated with it.
General Responsibilities :
- Assist in the responsibilities for the maintenance and repair of all plant converting equipment including basic electrical work to ensure minimum down time due to equipment failure.
- Assist in the responsibilities of implementation of converting equipment preventive maintenance program
- Responsible for parts room supplies including inventory of all shop tools, maintenance parts and plant cleaning supplies
- Potential for soliciting vendor quotations for all outsourced mechanical / electrical needs
- Some pipefitting skills and proficiency at using hand tools, portable electric tools and stationary shop equipment
- Parts pickup as needed
- All other tasks as assigned.
Requirements for Success :
Required Experience :
Education : High school diploma required. Manufacturing or Paper Converting experience is preferred.
