The New York Harbor VA Medical Center is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the New York Healthcare System (NYHHS) New York / Manhattan campus. Responsibilities include restorative dentistry and prosthodontics, maxillofacial prosthetics, periodontics, endodontics, radiography, and oral surgery. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm. Pay is competitive with regular salary increases. Benefits include paid time off, parental leave, child care subsidy, retirement, and insurance. Requirements include U.S. citizenship, proficiency in written and spoken English, and passing a pre-employment physical evaluation. Certification in dental radiography and basic life support methods is highly desirable. The position is not virtual and does not allow for permanent change of station.
