What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Technician at our clients facility, you'll be directly involved in maintaining the mechanical operations. From the initial commissioning phase to steady-state production, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on work that keeps our systems running safely and efficiently. This includes the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of both rotating and static mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, compressors, agitators, piping, valves, and heat exchangers
- Support mechanical commissioning efforts
- Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure reliable and safe equipment operation
- Coordinate with external vendors for scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities to support mechanical integrity programs
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and participate in root cause analysis initiatives
About You
Proven mechanical experience in industrial, chemical, or process plant settingsSkilled in mechanical equipment installation, diagnostics, and repairAble to interpret P&IDs, mechanical and isometric drawings, and equipment documentationExperience with CAD is a plusSolid understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a process environmentStrong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
