Supply Chain Planning Manager - Manufacturing

In this role, you’ll oversee daily planning and replenishment across multiple product lines — ensuring production, purchasing, and inventory strategies are tightly aligned with customer needs. You’ll manage and mentor a small team of planners, build strong relationships with internal partners and co-packers, and play a critical part in keeping the supply chain running efficiently and profitably.

What You’ll Do

Manage end-to-end supply chain planning for multiple business segments, maintaining optimal inventory levels and consistent service performance.

Oversee daily production schedules, purchase orders, and ERP accuracy to meet customer and company goals.

Analyze forecast vs. actual demand, identify outliers, and adjust plans in collaboration with sales and logistics.

Track inventory health, address potential shortages or excess stock, and drive proactive solutions.

Lead supplier and co-packer communications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution from production through delivery.

Mentor and develop a small team of planners, encouraging accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Implement best practices in planning, forecasting, and data management to enhance supply reliability and efficiency.

Report key performance metrics — including service levels, inventory turns, and forecast accuracy — to senior leadership.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.

5+ years of hands-on supply chain or production planning experience in a manufacturing

3+ years leading planners or small supply chain teams.

Solid understanding of ERP systems, inventory management, and data-driven decision-making.

Strong communication and analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Experience coordinating with co-packers, understanding production line capacity, and managing scheduling efficiency.

Food or CPG background helpful, but not required — manufacturing experience and a drive for operational excellence are key.
