WCS Healthcare is proud to partner with a well-known and respected organization in Englewood, NJ, that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee its Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in orthopedics. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong clinical leader to make a meaningful impact in a patient-focused, team-driven environment.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

6 : 30am-3 : 30pm.

Provide overall leadership and direction for nursing and clinical staff within the ambulatory surgery center.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies.

Oversee and support all aspects of patient care, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the nursing team.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to align with best practices in ambulatory surgical care.

Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff, fostering professional development and engagement.

Job Requirements :

Current NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience, with at least 2 years in ambulatory surgery or perioperative services.

Strong background in orthopedic surgical services highly preferred.
