Balancing Act Physical Therapy, PLLC is a family-owned small business with over 25 years of experience providing personalized, customer-focused physical therapy services in the Greater Kennewick Area, including Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, Finley, Burbank, and West Richland. Led by Terry Shultz, PT, our team emphasizes one-on-one attention, excellent customer service, and tailored care to improve patients’ overall health and wellbeing. We offer wheelchair-accessible facilities with convenient parking, accept debit and credit cards, and provide free consultations by appointment. In addition to our clinic-based services, we perform school contracting with kids in special education in outlying districts and deliver outpatient physical therapy to a wide range of patient types and ages.

Role Description :

We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time, on-site role in the Greater Kennewick Area, with the potential to quickly grow into full-time if it’s a great fit for both the candidate and our clinic. In this position, you will assess patients’ physical conditions, create tailored treatment plans, and administer physical therapy treatments, including rehabilitation services, patient care, and home care instructions as needed. You’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes, documenting progress and adjusting plans accordingly.

The role involves some travel to see students in various school districts 1-2 hours outside of the Tri-Cities, with mileage and travel time fully compensated. You’ll also treat patients in our clinic, serving a diverse population from children in special education to adults of all ages.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
  • Strong skills in Patient Care and Home Care
  • Knowledge of Medicine as it pertains to physical therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site setting
  • For PT : Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent; active Washington State licensure to practice physical therapy
  • For PTA : Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program; active Washington State licensure
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus
  • Must be able to work well with a variety of people of all ages

Salary PTA starts at $32 / hr. PT starts at $42 / hr. Salary increase based on experience.
