Job Title : LVN - Per Diem

Location : Shasta Regional Medical Center - California

Position Summary :

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Per Diem nursing pool . The LVN provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide basic nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope and hospital policy.
• Observe, document, and report patient status and response to interventions.
• Assist with patient hygiene, comfort, mobility, and safety.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
