Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Location : Pocatello, Idaho (83201) - Southeastern Idaho healthcare jobs Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit (10 labor rooms, 2 ORs, 3 triage beds) Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (16 : 45 - 05 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 On-Call : Required as needed Travel Requirement : Must live at least 100 miles from the facility First-time Travelers : Accepted Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1940-$1990 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license - Idaho or compact state Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (or CS Training), STABLE Experience with charting systems (any system accepted) Proficiency in high-risk labor, C-sections, triage of obstetrical patients, and use of IUPC Strong computer skills and ability to interface with lab and other departments Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills Must meet the 100-mile radius rule for travel nursing eligibility Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including high-risk cases Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and D&C procedures Set up labor rooms, handle specimens, and maintain aseptic technique Operate and maintain equipment such as suction, cautery, and DC machines Collaborate with physicians, CSTs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in on-call coverage as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols Support triage for outpatient pregnant patients and assist in the OR as required Join our healthcare team in Pocatello, Idaho and make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns.
