Custodial Worker-2nd Shift

The Custodial Worker position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across university facilities. Key responsibilities include :

• Performing housekeeping duties such as sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors using manual methods or power equipment.
• Removing debris and cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, walkways, and entrances.
• Cleaning swimming pools, showers, and other designated areas.
• Climbing ladders and scaffolding as needed for cleaning tasks.
• Maintaining custodial equipment and supplies; restocking restrooms.
• Moving furniture and performing snow removal as required.
• Working primarily on 2nd shift with hours of Monday-Friday between 6 : 00pm-2 : 30am with flexibility for changes in shift, hours, days, and / or location based on operational needs.
• Availability for overtime as needed.
• This position is designated as a standby role under the Disaster Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.17.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.

Required Qualifications :

The target hiring range for this job profile is $15.30-$19.13 per hour. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
