Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Research Chemist IV in Maplewood. MN with a well-known industry leader.

In this role you will be highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provide best practicing within the group.

This is a first shift position.

As a Lab Research Chemist IV you will :

• Candidate to assume leadership of technical programs of major importance involving scientific research / understanding, applied technology, and product or process innovations.
• Candidate will maintain a flow of major technical contributions such as material / product / process innovations and understandings and will document and communicate these via Records of Invention, patents, internal reports, technical presentations and / or publications.
• Identifying, planning, recommending and completing technical programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies having major importance to division / staff business.
• Establish extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiate inter-divisional interactions to develop a network of support (technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing) to facilitate completion of programs.
• Document experimental data / observations in technical notebooks (or approved electronic files), prepare reports, and make oral presentation. May also be required to provide technical supervision / management of other contingent technical workers.

Estimated Duration up to 24+ months.

Pay Rate : $34.00-35.00 per hour
