Facility Operations Lead

The City of Peoria is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the team as a Facility Operations Lead / Recreation Programmer at the Rio Vista Recreation Center. This role supports the planning coordination and execution of a wide range of recreational programs activities and special events held at the recreation center parks schools and other community locations. Additional responsibilities may include completing other related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in organizing promoting and implementing recreational programs in specialized areas such as special events senior services instructional classes professional sports adaptive recreation adult and youth sports aquatics preschool youth and teen programs and cultural activities.
• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies by preparing materials such as manuals announcements press releases flyers pamphlets and brochures.
• Conduct on-site program inspections and evaluations to ensure adherence to safety standards and program policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons participants and community members with information about recreation programs policies and services.

Minimum Requirements :

Valid Arizona Drivers License required upon hire.

Salary Range : $24.04 - $33.17

Hiring range : $24.04 - $28.61 DOE
