Dermatology Specialists Research (DS Research) is one of the leading clinical dermatology research groups in the Kentucky / Indiana area. Founded in 1990, DS Research provides high-quality clinical research trials in dermatological conditions such as eczema, atopic / contact dermatitis, rosacea, acne, psoriasis, and more. Acquired in 2014 by Nina M. Scott, RN, BSN, CCRC, the team includes board-certified dermatologists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and assistants with over 30 years of combined experience.

Role Description

This is a full or part-time on-site role located in Louisville, KY for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting clinical research trials, including preparing and managing trial materials, assisting with patient care, and conducting laboratory work. They will collaborate with the research team, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
• Strong understanding of Medical Terminology
• Proficient in conducting Research and Laboratory Skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in clinical research is a plus
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous
• Phlebotemy expereince is preferred
