As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will participate in the development and support of our airborne particle counter families. This full-time position requires technical and interpersonal maturity to work well within a multi-disciplinary environment as well as a pragmatic drive to deliver results towards product realization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Circuit design for new instruments or updates for exiting instruments using Altium
- Circuit simulation or analysis where applicable, with documentation tied to designs
- BOM creation and management
- Board layout with Altium, interfacing with PCB fabrication and assembly partners
- Lead electrical compliance efforts, such as Safety (UL / TUV), and EMC
- Board documentation, theory of operation, bring-up procedures, troubleshooting notes
- Board bring-up, testing and characterization, data captured and annotated
- Interface with firmware team to support integration efforts
- Interface with production team to hand-off new designs or upgrades
- Interface with quality team to address short / long-term issues
- Help in the creation of subsystem build and deployment procedures where applicable
- Provide second-tier support to troubleshoot and root-cause issues with incoming goods, or instruments returned for service. Resolve issues and document them
- Train or direct technicians / assemblers to troubleshoot issues

Electrical Engineering BS or equivalentPhysical Demands :While performing the duties of this job, this position is regularly sedentary in nature with extensive use of a computer screen, but may require standing and walking, and the ability to intermittently kneel, stoop, bend at the waist, twist at the waist and reach. Along with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly. This position may occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. (boxes, paper, office supplies, etc.).
