A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Previous traveler experience required
• May be required to float to MCH, postpartum, newborn nursery, or serve as a sitter based on census
• Care for patients with top diagnoses including RDS, hypoglycemia, prematurity, rule out sepsis, and TTN
• Assist with special procedures including circumcisions, PICC line removal, lumbar punctures, and eye exams
• Administer common medications including iron, vitamin infusions, caffeine, and antibiotics
• Operate equipment including ventilators, giraffe beds, feeding pumps, and IV pumps
• Required skills : IV insertion, PICC / Central line management, A-line management
• Required airway skills : CPAP / BiPAP and ventilator management
