Job descriptionWeekday; 7p-7a Weekend : 12-24 hrs; Fri (5p) - Mon (7a) Call Type : Beeper Call Ratio : 1 : 4 Call Response Time : 20 min Callback % : 50 Patient Census : 15 Patient Seen : 10 Deliveries per Year : 1500 Admissions : 5 Rounding included : Yes Support Staff : 12 RNs Procedures : Low risk pregnancy FHR interpretation (NST / CST / FSE) Amniocentesis Routine delivery : Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery : C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's Surgical GYN : Open Laparoscopic Diagnostic / minor only : Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chronal Tubation Operative / Major (includes Diagnostic) : Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's Beds in Dept : 18 Trauma Level : II EMR : Epic Other Info : Weekday mornings, providers would round on their own patients On Sat and Sun morning, only the call physician rounds on all patients This would also involve covering the ER, and might result in an occasional D&C, management of ectopic, emergent GYN surgery, GYN readmit, though this is not a frequent occurrence Hospital Privileges required : Yes Temporary Privileges available : Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Active MO License or IMLC BC ACLS
