Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Fayetteville, NC 28304 – North Carolina nursing jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)

Facility Type : Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital

Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), 3 shifts / week

Hours per Week : 36

Unit : 2 South Medical / Telemetry

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Charting System : Epic

Guaranteed Hours : All contracted shifts guaranteed after 2 call-offs per 13-week assignment

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1660 - $1700

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

EPIC charting experience preferred

Previous charge nurse, community hospital, or LTAC experience preferred

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Must pass advanced EKG exam for compliance

Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles of the facility

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response / code situations

Administer medications, manage IVs, central lines, and perform phlebotomy

Care for patients with ESRD, CVA, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and post-surgical needs

Document patient care using Epic electronic health records

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams : IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Float to similar units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Complete orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
