Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,370 per week in Albany, NY

Job Title : RN Profession : Nursing Specialty : CVICU Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12.5 Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience License : Valid nursing license required Certifications : Epic experience required; trauma Level One experience required Must-Have : - Competency in caring for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU. - Proficiency with high acuity patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. - Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations. Description : Epic experience is required. Navy blue scrubs are required. Competency test is required within 24 hours of submission. Candidates must ensure an up-to-date email is provided for the test. Candidates must be competent in managing high acuity patients. Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring is necessary. Efficient handling of vents, a-lines, spinal drains, and ECG interpretation is expected. This position requires the ability to titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips. The responsibility involves the care of immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in an ICU setting. This is a vacant position due to staffing needs.
