Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a VT or compact license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Patient population includes a wide range of emergency cases
  • Shift details will be determined prior to employment with no block scheduling allowed
  • All requested time off must be included at time of application and RTO not listed will not be approved
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
  • Traveler must provide a supervisory reference from the last two years
  • Permanent address must be included
  • Block scheduling will not be considered

    • Requirements

  • Active VT or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications required : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent ED experience in a hospital setting required
  • At least 3 months of travel experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have own vehicle for transportation
