About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Profession : Imaging

License : State license required

Certifications : BLS, ARRT in CT

Must-Have :

• Strong IV skills preferred
• Knowledgeable in different CT examinations
• Patient transport experience preferred
• Experience with stroke and contrast scans

Description :

Must be able to work independently in CT and surgery cases.

Must be willing to rotate shifts, including third shifts.

The facility has 1 CT scanner.

Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room.

Procedures will include generalized scans, cardiac, angiograms, and CTAs.

No interventional radiology procedures or biopsies are performed.

Patient ratios are typically 1 : 1.

Support on the unit includes department supervisors and other techs within radiology.

Charting system experience preferred includes EPIC, GE Optima 360, McKesson PACS, and Pyxis.

Floating to an X-ray department is required and may include travel to a nearby location if interested.

Weekend rotation is rarely required, based on need.

Variable scheduling includes start times between 2200 and 0800.

There is no on-call requirement for this position.
