Seeking a Special Education Coordinator to support K-12 students in a dedicated educational setting located in Dover, DE. This contract position spans from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering a structured 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
- Coordinate and schedule IEP meetings with parents, staff, and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers and department staff to implement effective strategies that support student success.
- Oversee programmatic aspects of special education services to meet diverse student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure communication across the department.
Qualifications and Desired Experience :
Proven experience as a Special Education teacher or coordinator, preferably with K-12 populations.Knowledge of special education laws, IEP procedures, and best practices.Strong organizational and communication skills to manage scheduling and stakeholder collaboration.Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.Familiarity with educational software and record-keeping systems is a plus.Location :
