Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a Special Education Coordinator to support K-12 students in a dedicated educational setting located in Dover, DE. This contract position spans from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering a structured 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
  • Coordinate and schedule IEP meetings with parents, staff, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with special education teachers and department staff to implement effective strategies that support student success.
  • Oversee programmatic aspects of special education services to meet diverse student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure communication across the department.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Special Education teacher or coordinator, preferably with K-12 populations.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, IEP procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage scheduling and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.
  • Familiarity with educational software and record-keeping systems is a plus.
