Job Description

The Immunology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a key member of the brand strategic marketing team. The TLL is the primary contact for the AbbVie Marketing team within an assigned region, interacting with External Experts to gather on-label insights aligned with company strategic plans in a specific therapeutic area. They also collaborate with franchise marketing leads and field leaders to develop regional marketing plans and ensure execution aligns with regional and national strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Thought Leader Engagement and Development
- Interact with External Experts, emerging leaders, and relevant associations within the region to identify collaboration and sponsorship opportunities aligned with marketing strategies.
- Develop regional engagement plans in line with brand strategies and ensure consistent tactical execution throughout the year.
Peer to Peer Support
Identify and recruit faculty for national series rollout and speaker training.Consult on peer-to-peer content development with healthcare professionals.Provide training on slide deck content, updates, and alignment with brand strategy.Identify key KOLs for national and regional conference product theaters.Uncover regional speaker program opportunities based on local market dynamics, guiding speaker selection and content.Marketing Initiatives
Lead projects through the promotional review process, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery.Provide insights to the Integrated Brand Team and senior leadership to inform marketing strategy and resource allocation.Serve as the marketing lead for field competitive insights in the region.Understand objectives for advisory meetings, recruit appropriate HCP targets, and assist in facilitation.Analyze market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics in the area.Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments including Agency Partners, Legal, Medical Affairs, and others.Marketing Leadership in Key Accounts
Understand external and internal drivers within accounts.Lead marketing efforts for key accounts, connecting with internal teams for collaboration.Prioritize account initiatives for the Integrated Brand Team.Scope and Key Skills
Effective communication with External Experts and stakeholders.Translate market trends and insights into strategic plans.Maintain knowledge of industry data sources and evaluate promotional effectiveness.Strong collaboration and team orientation.Manage marketing budgets and projects efficiently.Adhere to regulatory guidelines and standards.Understand internal functions and their impact on decisions.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.At least 2 years of experience in sales, management, or marketing, preferably in Immunology.Willingness to travel up to 60%, including weekends.Collaborative working style and understanding of team priorities.Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.Additional Information
