About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required in emergency department nursing

License : Florida State or compact license required at time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required. CPI and TNCC preferred

Must-Have :

EPIC experience required

Patient ratios of 1 : 4

Weekend shifts required, 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle

No on-call requirement

Floating required as needed within scope

Description :

The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Nurses must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients with varying diagnoses.

Experience in handling acute emergencies, trauma, and critical care situations is essential.

Exceptional communication and teamwork skills are necessary to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Documentation of patient care and outcomes must be accurately captured in the electronic health record system.

Patient populations include neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The department handles a diverse range of cases that require quick assessment and intervention.

Compliance with infection control and safety protocols is mandatory.

References from authority figures within the last year are required for application.

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory with exemptions considered only for medical or religious reasons.
