Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine physician for coverage. The role is strictly onsite, and the physician will work 9 or 10-hour shifts, with no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a busy ED setting.
• Manage a variety of urgent care cases and trauma situations.
• Work closely with APPs, nurses, and techs for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize Cerner as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Perform medical procedures as needed, including :
• Suturing minor lacerations
• Incision and drainage
• Chest tube insertion
• Central and arterial line placement
• Ventilation management and airway management
• Diagnostic procedures like lumbar punctures and paracentesis
