A day on our 2nd shift
Your workday typically runs 1 : 00 PM–9 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. You’ll start your journey on 1st shift for hands-on training, then transition to your home shift. From there, you’ll collaborate with operators and fellow technicians to keep our highly automated lines performing at their best.
What you’ll tackle
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, VFDs, and robots across production cells.
- Interpret complex electrical schematics and safety circuits to resolve faults quickly and safely.
- Troubleshoot SCADA / MES issues and industrial network communications.
- Execute preventive maintenance on electrical / automation assets and calibrate instruments with precise documentation.
- Use SAP Asset Maintenance Management for work orders, parts, and history capture.
- Analyze equipment data to drive downtime reduction and throughput gains.
- Support process improvements and capital projects; document and implement automation upgrades.
- Work on medium-voltage systems, MCCs, and distribution panels.
- Diagnose 480V three-phase, 120V AC, and 24V DC control circuits.
- Share knowledge by coaching technicians and operators.

High School Diploma or GED (required)Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent (preferred)3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experienceSkills that set you up for success
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including safe multimeter useComfort with industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, etc.)Clear communicator and collaborative teammateCritical thinking, structured problem-solving, and a bias for actionCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementAbility to work independently and juggle multiple priorities under pressureCompensation and benefits
