Job descriptionPrepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens Perform post-operative clean-up and equipment sterilization Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care OR setting Experience in neurosurgery and orthopedic procedures is required BLS certification (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
