Job Description

As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for installing plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment such as water heaters, dishwashers, and garbage disposals. You will diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, clogs, and other issues, ensuring proper maintenance of plumbing systems. Your role involves interpreting blueprints and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations and renovations while adhering to safety regulations. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with clients, providing pricing and scheduling information, maintaining accurate records, and managing supplies for plumbing jobs.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing fixtures, pipes, and related equipment, including water heaters, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, clogs, and other issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper function and prevent future issues.
• Identify and resolve problems in plumbing systems by diagnosing malfunctions and implementing necessary repairs.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations and renovations.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, soldering torches, and sewer augers.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when working with plumbing systems and materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining issues, and providing pricing and scheduling information.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Order and maintain necessary supplies and materials for plumbing jobs.
