Job Summary :
Senior Business Development (BD) leader for the Voyager Defense Systems Propulsion business area who develops New Business Acquisition vision, strategies, and tactical plans, and then executes to drive bookings (sales), increase revenue, and position the business for robust growth in alignment with financial objectives. This person will identify and evaluate expansion of current and new markets, partners, channels, and customers. The role requires a strong technical background and Controllable Solid Rocket Motor Propulsion domain experience in order to develop customer trust and relationships,and effectively partner with the internal technical execution team. The individual must be skilled at both the Strategic level and hands-on independent BD execution in an entrepreneurial environment which includes understanding strategic environment, threats, problems, priorities, limitations, and requirements as well as a deep understanding how the customer perceives capability and capacity gaps. This role is a highly visible senior leadership role reporting to the Defense Systems Senior Director of Business Development and supporting the Aero Business VP / GM and CTO. The individual will be expected to effectively work with and communicate with company executives, customers, project engineers, program managers, finance, contracts, Operations, HR, IT, and security.
