Project Architect / Architectural Project Manager

BB&W Architects, LLC is a growing architectural firm looking to expand its team due to an increasing project load. While we specialize in healthcare projects, our approach, driven by experience, ensures that every design is both high-quality and practical. Our two Principals, each with national experience, provide hands-on leadership and attention to every project.

Position Overview

We have an immediate need for a full-time Project Architect / Architectural Project Manager to join our team on-site in Houston, TX. This role will be responsible for managing architectural projects, overseeing timelines, coordinating project submittals, and ensuring that project specifications are met.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Architecture and Architectural Project Management.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program; professional licensure is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and MS Office Suite is required; experience with AutoCAD and Twinmotion is plus.
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
• Well-versed in typical building systems and the ability to lead the production of construction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Supervisory experience, including guiding and managing project team members to ensure direction, organization, and quality control.
• Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset to meet deadlines.
• Healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and be a current resident of the contiguous United States.
