San Diego Superior Court is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cybersecurity Architect. There is one (1) vacancy approved to be filled in the I.T. Department. Eligible for remote hybrid work schedule.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Cybersecurity Architect leads the design, development, and implementation of secure technology solutions that protect the Court's information assets; and performs related duties as required. The Cybersecurity Architect plays a key role in shaping the Court's cybersecurity architecture and ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and innovation.

The IDEAL CANDIDATE should have the following :

KNOWLEDGE OF :

• Security architecture principles, network and application security, encryption, and secure coding practices
• Architecture and topology of networks, hardware, and data centers, including LANs, WANs, telecommunications systems, and their protocols and standards
• Software engineering and secure development methodologies
• Disaster recovery, high availability, redundancy, and incident response planning

PROFICIENCY WITH :

ABILITY TO :

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

AND

At least eight (8) years of full-time, progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a public sector environment.

Certifications :

CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA, and / or GIAC are highly desirable.
