Join our team as an NP Nocturnist . In the NP Nocturnist role you will be required to :

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for rapid assessment, nursing diagnosis and works with MD partners to assure safe patient diagnostic testing and optimal plan of care.
  • Perform advanced practice procedures.
  • Utilize the nursing process to promote / restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.
  • A ssume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

  • 1-2 years+ of inpatient (HM / ICU / ED) experience required
  • Ability to comfortably work nights as this is a nocturnist position
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • Masters Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner, from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program required. Must be a graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Graduate from an Accredited School Of Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and / or sub-specialty.
  • RN License required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
  • Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
  • Physical Requirements -Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)

    Pay Range

    $70.00 - $78.76 / hour
