Job description

Staff Accountant / Executive Assistant

The Staff Accountant / Executive Assistant will oversee day-to-day accounting functions while providing comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership. Responsibilities include managing financial records, processing payroll, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, alongside scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and handling confidential communications. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Prepare financial statements, assist with budgeting, and support audits and compliance activities
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for executives
  • Draft and review correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high level of professionalism
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain effective communication between leadership and internal / external stakeholders
  • Support special projects and administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth business operations

Salary Range : $75,000 $120,000 + Bonus

  • Requirements :

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience; proficiency in QuickBooks or similar software preferred
  • 1+ years of experience providing administrative or executive support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
