Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager to support the Surveillance portfolio of programs in Forest MS to maximize throughput, improve efficiency, and deliver increasing value to the customer. Industrial Engineering Managers partner closely with Factory Leaders, Industrial Engineers, Area Transformation Industrial Engineers, and other functions to create predictable manufacturing systems.
Industrial Engineers are responsible for Labor Performance Analyses, Process and Value Stream Mapping, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layouts, Factory Simulations, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and more.

What You Will Do
- Manages and mentors a team of Industrial Engineers.
- Manages allocated budgets and secure future funding.
- Focus on talent development and career advancement.
- Provides oversight of Industrial Engineering simulation models and capacity-planning for various scenarios.
- Manages high visibility projects and provides cost / benefit analysis with trade-off studies for methods and productivity improvements; engages factory management to align IE work to customers' business goals.
- Promote the use of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
- Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies.
- This role may require infrequent travel up to 10% to suppliers and Raytheon factories outside of Mississippi.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar engineering discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, or a minimum of 5 years with a master's degree in a similar disciplineActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer
