Job Description

Position Summary

The role of the Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant is to prepare Liliʻuokalani Trust (LT) employees to accomplish job results and organizational needs. Creates, delivers, and manages organization-wide training and professional development programs / processes that are designed to foster continuous learning, high performance, and professional growth. The L&D Consultant works closely with the Learning & Development Manager on projects pertaining to orientations / onboarding, performance management, leadership development, compliance, and other initiatives aligned with LT’s strategic goals and priorities. This position is managed within the People Operations Department of Team Services.

Learning & Development :

• Plan, develop, implement, present, and coordinate a variety of learning and professional development trainings for all employees or managers.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training events to audiences ranging from 5 to 200 attendees.
• Design and develop self-paced, live-virtual and in-person training content including engaging exercises and learning activities.
• Develop and improve ongoing learning programs in partnership with leaders and subject matter experts.
• Create a variety of training materials such as curricula, manuals, guides, tools, and other resources.
