• Hours for this job are : Tuesday - Friday, 11am to 930pm with every 3rd rotating weekend

Job Summary : Assists technologists and Specimen Acquisition Coordinator in venipuncture and capillary blood collections on inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients. Assists when necessary with clerical work. The work is repetitive in nature and follows standard procedures with little room for deviation. The employee must exercise courtesy and tact while dealing with patients. Work is performed under general supervision following a period of rigid on-the-job training and is checked by observation and quality control procedures.
