Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certification, for an acute care, Level II trauma setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care radiology department with 7 treatment areas
  • Covers inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER settings across a peds to geriatric population
  • Handles a high volume of 70-80 scans per day plus 5-15 OR cases daily
  • Procedures include portable x-rays, fluoroscopy, and coverage of busy OR and high-volume ER
  • Uses OEC c-arms, Metronics O-arm, Fuji general and portable equipment, and Siemens fluoroscopy systems
  • Charting is completed using Epic via Citrix; Epic experience preferred
  • 8 or 12 hour variable shifts, Monday through Sunday, with mostly days and occasional nights; shifts start as early as 6 : 00 AM and as late as 7 : 00 PM for nights
  • Call required 1-2 weekdays per week after shifts (3 : 30–7 : 00 or 4 : 00–7 : 00); weekend call every third weekend with 12-hour shifts and an average of 8.5–15.5 hours of call time
  • Call response time of 20–30 minutes
  • Orientation includes 1.5–2 weeks of clinical and EPIC training
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Responsibilities include providing radiology services across all patient age groups and a range of inpatient, outpatient, and surgical scenarios
  • Work with a supportive team and a family-oriented department culture
  • Supervisors and coordinators available on day shifts; in-house radiologist coverage weekdays, teleradiology after hours
  • Holiday coverage may be required if needed
  • No IV starts required for this department
  • Candidates must not have worked (full time, part time, or PRN) for CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity Health facilities, in the previous 12 months unless PRN via outside agencies
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract must be specified up front; additional RTO not approved

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in radiology required
  • Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • Active North Dakota state radiology license required; license required if applicable
  • Experience with C-arm equipment required; O-arm experience preferred but training available
  • Experienced with portables and fluoroscopy procedures
  • Must provide two professional references : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one additional supervisor or peer reference from the last 3 years
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
