American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certification, for an acute care, Level II trauma setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care radiology department with 7 treatment areasCovers inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER settings across a peds to geriatric populationHandles a high volume of 70-80 scans per day plus 5-15 OR cases dailyProcedures include portable x-rays, fluoroscopy, and coverage of busy OR and high-volume ERUses OEC c-arms, Metronics O-arm, Fuji general and portable equipment, and Siemens fluoroscopy systemsCharting is completed using Epic via Citrix; Epic experience preferred8 or 12 hour variable shifts, Monday through Sunday, with mostly days and occasional nights; shifts start as early as 6 : 00 AM and as late as 7 : 00 PM for nightsCall required 1-2 weekdays per week after shifts (3 : 30–7 : 00 or 4 : 00–7 : 00); weekend call every third weekend with 12-hour shifts and an average of 8.5–15.5 hours of call timeCall response time of 20–30 minutesOrientation includes 1.5–2 weeks of clinical and EPIC trainingScrubs are providedResponsibilities include providing radiology services across all patient age groups and a range of inpatient, outpatient, and surgical scenariosWork with a supportive team and a family-oriented department cultureSupervisors and coordinators available on day shifts; in-house radiologist coverage weekdays, teleradiology after hoursHoliday coverage may be required if neededNo IV starts required for this departmentCandidates must not have worked (full time, part time, or PRN) for CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity Health facilities, in the previous 12 months unless PRN via outside agenciesA 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibilityUp to 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract must be specified up front; additional RTO not approved\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in radiology requiredActive ARRT and BLS certifications requiredActive North Dakota state radiology license required; license required if applicableExperience with C-arm equipment required; O-arm experience preferred but training availableExperienced with portables and fluoroscopy proceduresMust provide two professional references : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one additional supervisor or peer reference from the last 3 yearsCopy of driver’s license required for consideration\n Benefits\n
