BC / BE Palliative medicine physician to join a collaborative interdisciplinary team and contribute to clinical, educational and quality improvement missions.

Clinical services currently include inpatient consultations within a 300-bed academic medical center affiliated with Tufts with referrals from all medical and surgical services.

Clinic-based services are provided in the Cancer Institute with plans to expand to other serious illness populations. The division educates fellows and residents from multiple specialties and medical students and is currently planning for a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship program.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate passions for clinical palliative medicine, medical education and development of innovative care delivery approaches to improve serious illness care.

Candidates must have completed hospice and palliative medicine fellowship training by hire date or demonstrate other comparable experience.
