Mill Maintenance Laborer – Full Time | Fort Knox, AK

Pay : $27.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 6 : 45 AM–6 : 45 PM

Employer : TDL Staffing

TDL Staffing is seeking a Mill Maintenance Laborer to join operations at a mine located about 45 minutes outside of Fairbanks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work, takes safety seriously, and thrives in an active, industrial setting.

What You’ll Do

Support daily mill operations and assist mechanics with maintenance and clean-up tasks
Operate heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, skid steers) as needed
Work safely and efficiently in outdoor and industrial environments
Follow directions accurately and complete assigned tasks with attention to detail

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Strong work ethic and reliability

Safety-minded, with good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Comfortable working in outdoor conditions—hot, cold, wet, or dusty

Construction or general labor experience preferred

Employer is willing to train dependable candidates who show initiative

Minimum Requirements

Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklifts, or skid steers

Basic tool knowledge and the ability to perform labor-intensive tasks

Physically capable of working in demanding outdoor environments

Must support a drug-free workplace

Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position

Must have reliable transportation to and from the mine site

Valid driver’s license preferred

Steel-toe boots are required
