Leading the Cure : Medical Director of Leukemia at Orlando Health

The Medical Director of Leukemia will provide leadership and oversight for the Leukemia Program at Orlando Health. This role involves strategic planning, program development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with other departments and lead a team of

hematologists / oncologists

to advance the field of leukemia through clinical excellence, research, and education. Additionally, the Medical Director will be responsible for training and mentoring fellows in

hematology / oncology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and direction for the Leukemia Program, including strategic planning and program development.
• Oversee clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports clinical excellence, research, and education.
• Engage in recruitment and retention of top talent in

hematology / oncology.

Participate in a comprehensive fellowship training program in

hematology / oncology

with a focus on leukemia.

Qualifications :

American Board of Internal Medicine Certification in

Hematology / Oncology.
