Description :

The Speech Language Pathologist will work an 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM shift.

The position requires working one weekend every other month.

The candidate will administer evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders.

The role involves establishing and providing treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognitive, voice, and / or swallowing disorders.

Patients will be scheduled to receive evaluation and treatments based on their needs.

The candidate will provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding disorders of speech, language, cognition, voice, and / or swallowing.

Participation in program development for the speech therapy discipline and the PM&R department is expected.

The candidate will prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies.

Participation in community programs is also part of the role.
