Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist – Day Shift

Location : Salem, OR

Start Date : December 1, 2025

Duration : 13 weeks (contract-based)

Shift Options :

  • 4x10-Hour Days (07 : 00 – 18 : 30)
  • 4x10-Hour Days (11 : 30 – 22 : 00) Variable Start Times : Between 07 : 00 and 11 : 30, any day of the week

    • Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Salem, Oregon. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, compassionate patient care, and strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in Abdomen and OB / GYN specialties
  • Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and related systems with precision
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging
  • Provide empathetic care and clear communication to patients and families

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) – permanent or temporary
  • Registered with ARDMS in both Abdomen (AB) and OB / GYN
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sonography preferred

  • ARDMS OB / GYN

    • Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in operating state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and supportive technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrates empathy and professionalism in patient interactions
