Role Description

George & Associates, Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in our Tallahassee, Florida office. The position will assist senior-level engineers and Project Managers with project tasks, as well as prepare AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, reports, and technical specifications.

This is a full-time civil engineering position at our firm, which will involve participating in various civil engineering assignments, including commercial site development, municipal design, sanitary and stormwater design, roadway design, and other civil projects for public sector clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university

Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD / Autodesk Civil 3D / Microstation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications

Designation as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) / Engineer Intern (EI) or acquired within one year of employment

Ability to read and understand construction engineering plans and drawings, including sheet references

Experience in the civil engineering industry is preferred

Creativity and an innovative mindset are a plus
