Academy of Collaborative Education is Louisiana’s first Type 2 Charter School focused specifically on students with autism spectrum disorder.  ACE is hiring grade level teachers for the 2024-2025 school year! ACE  is seeking Certified Special Education and General Education Elementary Teachers to implement instruction.  Certified General Education teachers have support from a Certified Special Education Teacher for students in grades 1-5. The charter is seeking teachers for the following academic subjects :

Certified Special Education Teachers K-5

General Education Teachers 1-5

Under the supervision and direction of the Principal and Program Director, the Certified Teacher will effectively manage the learning environment by preparing lesson plans, instructing students, evaluating and monitoring students’ performance and advancing student achievement.  The Certified Teacher should have experience differentiating instruction for a variety of learners and will work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction in accordance with students’ IEP goals. The Certified teacher will also ensure the classroom follows the ACE structured teaching model.  Teachers in this role should demonstrate a commitment to professional development through ACE’s scheduled professional development and classroom coaching.
